10日、2013グラミー賞授賞式(The 55th Grammy Awards)が行われ、主要4賞である最優秀レコード賞(Record of the Year)はゴティエ(Gotye)の"Somebody That I Used to Know" feat. キンブラ(Kimbra)、最優秀アルバム賞(Album of the Year)はマムフォード＆サンズ(Mumford & Sons)のアルバム"Babel"、最優秀ソング賞はファン(Fun.)の"We Are Young"、そして新人賞(Best New Artist)もFun.が受賞した。
